A new pilot project in the capital will try out multi-faceted farming in a built-up setting as a source of food and environmental awareness
Peter Danielsson has been the Chairman of the Municipal Board of Helsingborg (equivalent to Mayor) since 2006 and the 1st Deputy Party Chairman of the Swedish party Moderaterna. Peter is also a member of the board for the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions.
Previously, Peter has worked as an editorial writer, communication consultant, entrepreneur and he has also been a member of the Swedish parliament. Peter has extensive management experience and is an experienced and appreciated speaker driven by results. Under Peter's leadership, Helsingborg has been appointed Sweden's IT municipality 2015, Growth Municipality of the Year 2016, Sweden's Quality Municipality 2017, The Municipality of the Year 2017 and Sweden's best environmental municipality 2017 and 2018.
Peter is strongly committed to developing the sustainable and smart city of the future. Quality of life, City governance and innovation-driven development is on top of his agenda.
Peter has a Bachelor´s degree in Political Science from Lund University.
