Pourquoi aller à la bibliothèque si la bibliothèque peut venir chez vous?
La Bibliothèque nationale du Luxembourg offre à ses abonnés un service mobile efficace, à savoir - une bibliothèque mobile. Le Bicherbus, comme on l'appelle, traverse tout le pays avec 16 visites hebdomadaires et dessert une centaine de municipalités. Lancé il y a 30 ans par l'administration du Ministère de la Culture, depuis 2010 Bicherbus est officiellement un service fourni par la Bibliothèque nationale.
Le fonds de la bibliothèque mobile est intégré à celui de la Bibliothèque nationale. En plus, les lecteurs sont autorisés à parcourir son catalogue en ligne et à réserver un livre spécifique à l’avance.
Alors, comment ça marche? Les nouveaux lecteurs peuvent s'abonner gratuitement avec leurs cartes d'identité pour une période de deux ans au Bicherbus. Une fois leur carte émise, ils peuvent emprunter un livre et le ramener à la maison. Ce service est réservé aux résidents du Luxembourg ou des régions limitrophes. L'ensemble du processus est très simple - il suffit de consulter le trajet du bus en ligne et son arrêt le plus proche, puis de choisir un livre parmi l'un des plus de 66 000 articles figurant sur la liste, cinq jours avant son arrivée. Alternativement, si vous ne savez pas ce que vous voulez lire par la suite, recherchez quelque chose d’intéressant parmi les 4300 titres proposés régulièrement sur le Bicherbus. Les articles peuvent être retournés dans les 42 jours renouvelables une fois. Chaque utilisateur est autorisé à 15 livres, 4 enregistrements audio ou DVD.
