Action Sports Theme Park to be built in Setúbal
The investment has already been approved by the Municipality of Setúbal
Wake Park Setúbal will be the newest and one of the most modern action sports theme parks in Europe. The park will be built in Baixa de Santas, next to the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. There will be a larger lake for experienced and competition practitioners, and a smaller one for beginners.
Among the various infrastructures, there will also be a track for electric carting, skate park, climbing wall, BMX and paintball zone, 25 bungalows, park for 17 campers, restaurant for 200 people, a cafe and a sports equipment shop. According to the Mayor of Setúbal, Maria das Dores Meira, there are plans for a construction of a traditional water park next to Wake Park Setúbal, so the city could offer fun for the whole family.
