El Ayuntamiento de Alicante dio el pistoletazo de salida a un nuevo proceso de digitalización del parque empresarial Las Atalayas en la ciudad con la instalación de dos torres que están equipadas con múltiples sensores. Esto sucedió al inicio del período navideño y, si se considera exitoso, allanará el camino hacia implementaciones similares en los 11 parques industriales del municipio valenciano con miras a convertirlos en mejores lugares para el trabajo, la productividad y la creatividad en línea con la nueva comprensión de desarrollo y los nuevos conceptos de entorno urbano.
Las dos torres en cuestión monitorearán diversos elementos, como la calidad del aire, condiciones climáticas, niveles de ruido, movilidad, iluminación, concentraciones de monóxido de carbono y ozono, y gestión de residuos, entre otros. Este tipo de datos es cada vez más importante y relevante para la gestión sostenible de áreas industriales y urbanas.
“La Agencia de Desarrollo está colaborando con la Entidad de Conservación en el desarrollo del proyecto Atalayas Ciudad Empresarial 2.025, proyecto pionero e innovador que tiene como eje vertebrador la trasformación de un área industrial existente en un área más habitable y humanizada, con una mejora de infraestructuras y servicios que permita cambiar la percepción de sus usuarios de un espacio de trabajo a un espacio de vida, un espacio reconvertido en ciudad”, ha dicho Mari Carmen de España, concejala de Empleo y Desarrollo de Alicante.
Esta instalación representa solo uno de los pasos en un plan general del gobierno local para convertir su ciudad en un punto de referencia para la economía digital, vista como el motor principal que traerá modernización y recuperación. Esto implicará la mejora de los 11 parques industriales existentes con equipos digitales de vanguardia, además de proporcionarles más tierra para crecer.
El plan incluso tiene nombre propio, Alicante Futura, y estos son algunos de los sectores en los que las autoridades quieren que se involucren los emprendedores locales: big data, inteligencia artificial, robótica, ciberseguridad, blockchain, telecomunicaciones e investigación científica.
