Le service de mobilité gratuite de la ville française relie le littoral au parking
À compter du samedi 15 juin, le minibus gratuit facilitant l’accès aux plages de Bocca est de retour pour une autre saison. Le service de bus gratuit a été mis en place par la municipalité de Cannes et l'agglomération de Cannes Lérins afin de faciliter l'accès à la plage depuis le parking situé à proximité.
Ainsi, deux minibus au design unique circuleront de 7h à 19h15 tous les jours de la semaine, week-ends compris, départ toutes les 15 minutes. Leur chemin est le suivant : Résistance-Coubertin > Plages du boulevard du Midi > La Bocca-Verrerie > Place du Marché > Résistance-Coubertin. Il est de longueur totale de six kilomètres et de dix-huit arrêts. La ligne sera opérationnelle jusqu'au 29 septembre et afin d’améliorer encore la mobilité, elle correspond au réseau des arrêts Palm Bus existants de Coubertin, Place du Marché et à sur le Boulevard du Midi.
Le bus Bocca Cabana s'inscrit dans une stratégie plus vaste de la ville française visant à renouveler et à gérer le littoral de Bocca Cabana. Celle-là prévoit également l’extension des zones de promenade et de verdure, des mesures visant à réduire le trafic, rendant le site plus attrayant par le biais de jeux de sport, tout en préservant son identité.
