Digitalization and public administration: the third EUDIGIT e-book is out

You can download it for free

TheMayor.EU has just released the latest e-book, part of the EUDIGIT – European Digital Citizens project. The document is dedicated to the topic of digitalization and public administration and the third project webinar, which took place in December, organised by the Municipality of Genoa. The digital booklet is now available for free downloading.

What works in digitalizing public services? EUDIGIT partners show the way

As part of the EUDIGIT consortium, six leading EU cities, supported by TheMayor.EU – The European Portal for Cities and Citizens, exchange best practices and views on how to bridge the digital divide on their territories. This time around, the e-book offers fresh insight into the tools and services that make local administration more accessible and fit for the latest digital trends.

On its pages, one might learn how Marseille (France) has established and is improving one of the oldest call-centres in the country, allowing it to perform various procedures online; how residents of Genoa (Italy) and Rotterdam (The Netherlands) can access dozens of different administrative documents without ever going to the administrative buildings; or how Varna (Bulgaria) involved its citizens in determining the path for the future development of the city though online consultations.

Furthermore, one will gain a better insight into the coordinated, comprehensive and strategically bound process of digital transformation, as it is unfolding in Hamburg (Germany) and Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and will learn how events can successfully take place and flourish in the online environment, as demonstrated by Genoa’s Rolli Days.

Finally, there is a story coming straight from Rotterdam showing how residents helped the city administration rethink its communication style with taxpayers.

To dive deeper into these topics, simply download the free EUDIGIT e-book on Digitalization and Public Administration from this link.
