I monopattini elettrici a noleggio non sono una realtà nuova a Roma, ma questa estate il sistema di condivisione sta diventando sempre più popolare tra residenti e visitatori della capitale italiana. Come funzionano I monopattini? Per prima cosa bisogna, si deve scaricare l’App, e registrare la propria carta di credito, necessaria per pagare il costo delle corse: 1 euro per sbloccare il monopattino e 15 centesimi al minuto per la corsa. Il mezzo è pensato per tragitti brevi e veloci, il cosiddetto ultimo miglio. Una volta scaricata l’applicazione, basta aprirla e, sulla mappa, compariranno, georeferenziati, i monopattini elettrici che si trovano nei dintorni. Accanto all’icona del monopattino è possibile anche vedere quanta batteria ha e, quindi, cliccando, anche l’autonomia in chilometri, quanti, cioè, se ne possono ancora percorrere. Una volta arrivati in prossimità del mezzo si clicca su “scansiona per partire“. E’ sufficiente darsi una piccola spinta e il monopattino elettrico si avvia. Può anche essere messo in pausa, magari il tempo di prendere un caffè, per poi riprendere la corsa.
