Devido a temperaturas muito baixas, Câmara de Lisboa activa o Plano de Contingência para as Pessoas Sem-Abrigo Perante o Frio. Isto significa que as estações de metro Oriente, Saldanha, Intendente, Rossio e Santa Apolónia ficarão abertas durante toda a noite para receber quem geralmente dorme nas ruas da cidade.
A Câmara Municipal de Lisboa também abriu um pavilhão do Complexo Desportivo Municipal de Casal Vistoso onde sem abrigos têm acesso às refeições quentes, alojamento temporário e também receber agasalhos.As equipas técnicas de rua circularão para Lisboa para reencaminhar para o local todos os que aceitem o apoio.
