El pasado 11 de enero, la presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, inauguró una estación de carga eléctrica para vehículos en Pozuelo de Alarcón, municipio de la periferia occidental de la metrópoli madrileña. Con capacidad para 46 coches, lo convierte en el más grande de su tipo en toda España.
El lugar elegido para ubicar la nueva estación es Ciudad de la Imagen, un parque empresarial de medios que alberga muchas estaciones de televisión locales y otras empresas audiovisuales. El terreno en sí es propiedad del gobierno regional, que ha decidido ponerlo a disposición.
Se informó que 20 de los 46 puntos de carga están equipados con tecnología ultrarrápida que permite cargar el 80% de la batería de un vehículo eléctrico en tan solo 10 minutos.
La estación cuenta con 1800 kW de potencia, que estarán disponibles las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana para los usuarios. La energética Endesa X, por su parte, ha sido la encargada de colocar los puntos de suministro eléctrico de los 46 puntos de los cuales 20 son aparcamientos con cargadores ultrarrápidos (150 kW) y 26 que funcionan en modo semirrápido (hasta 22 kw).
La nueva instalación utiliza una plataforma desarrollada por EYSA para el acceso, gestión y pago. Es un nuevo sistema que permite el acceso por matrícula o app.
Esto ahorra tiempo y dinero al conductor, ya que no necesita obtener un boleto y pagar manualmente. El pago se realiza automáticamente cuando salen de la estación.
Hacer que el proceso de recarga sea más rápido, más accesible y más conveniente es la forma en que las autoridades quieren alentar y aumentar el interés en la compra y el uso de automóviles híbridos y eléctricos.
La Comunidad de Madrid quiere extender este tipo de infraestructuras al resto del territorio y ya investiga otros terrenos públicos, estratégicamente ubicados, para futuras estaciones eléctricas con el fin de poner en marcha una red de puntos de recarga rápida y ultrarrápida para vehículos eléctricos.
