La herramienta fue desarrollada por el Departamento de Lenguas Extranjeras y Lingüística de la UNED
En línea con la nueva tendencia de simplificar la comunicación, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid anunció que ha firmado un protocolo de actuación con la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). La institución académica dotará a la administración local de una herramienta digital que aclarará el lenguaje formal y facilitará su comprensión a los residentes de la capital española.
La firma, que se ha materializado tras dos años de trabajo conjunto, contó con la presencia de la concejala delegada de Coordinación Territorial, Transparencia y Participación Ciudadana, Silvia Saavedra, y la vicerrectora de Investigación, Transferencia de Conocimiento y Difusión Científica de la UNED, Rosa María Martín.
Gracias a este protocolo, el Ayuntamiento promoverá la mejora y adaptación de una herramienta informática desarrollada por el Departamento de Lenguas Extranjeras y Lingüística de la UNED. La herramienta facilitará la adaptación del lenguaje administrativo a un lenguaje más claro y comprensible de los textos y comunicaciones emitidos por el Ayuntamiento.
El objetivo es que los madrileños puedan ejercer sus derechos y cumplir sus obligaciones sin complicaciones y sin la ayuda de intermediarios. Se espera que dicha simplificación fomente y mejore la relación entre la administración y los ciudadanos, haciendo que los primeros sean más identificables.
Silvia Saavedra ha explicado que "el Ayuntamiento de Madrid, desde la Dirección General de Transparencia y Calidad, lleva ya varios años trabajando en proyectos que coordinen y promuevan la forma en que el Consistorio se relaciona con la ciudadanía desde la perspectiva de simplificación y claridad lingüística” y “como demostramos cada día, la transparencia en todos y cada uno de sus múltiples aspectos es una prioridad absoluta para este equipo de Gobierno".
