How do we make our cities better? One question, a myriad of answers

The Urban Future Conference (#UF23), Europe’s leading event dedicated to sustainable transformation, is heading to the German city of Stuttgart on 21-23 June for its 2023 edition. The expectation is that about 3,000 CityChangers from all walks of life will gather at the forum to exchange ideas and solutions for making cities better places to live.

Regardless of their background and profession, experts, policymakers, urban planners, journalists, construction entrepreneurs, activists and influencers will all get the chance to meet face to face and share and debate the merits of responsible and holistic development.

Knowledge, experience, visions – keys to upgrading the future

Martin Körner, the head of the Climate Protection, Mobility and Housing department of Stuttgart declared: “Visitors will experience Stuttgart as an open and forward-looking metropolis. We expect Urban Future to provide new impulses for our city.

Indeed, that much is true since the event is already shaping up to be chockfull of intriguing events and a varied agenda that is sure to meet the demands of the most discerning of visionaries.

You can consult the event’s programme as it gets updated and glean further insight into what you can expect from the conference.

We, at TheMayor.EU as media partners of the event, are especially delighted that the residents of Stuttgart can also take part in the organization of the discourse and decisions about the future of their hometown. During "Urban Future Week", they will have the opportunity to get to know urban initiatives and their representatives and to put various sustainability projects in Stuttgart to the test.

#UF23 will take place in the central area of Stuttgart. The main venue is Haus der Wirtschaft, located at Willi-Bleicher-Straße 19. Some sessions will take place in other locations that are within walking distance, for example, Hochschule für Technik and Gewerkschaftshaus.

Whether you call it a conference, a festival or a forum, do yourself a favour and become part of it – an inspiring way to kickstart the summer. You can book your tickets here.
