Youth pass of Paris returns with extended offer in 2020

Young people can discover the French capital for free or at very advantageous prices this autumn

Albeit with a small delay due to the health crisis caused by Covid-19 the traditional Youth pass of Paris returns in 2020 with an improved offer. The card that gives young Parisians the chance to discover their city at no cost or at advantageous prizes, can already be claimed and be used until mid-November.

Improved access to culture, sports and leisure for young Parisians

Cinema, expos, sports and leisure, as well as various other ways to discover Paris – this is what the Youth pass gives each year to young residents of the French capital. In 2020 the reservations opened a little later than usual – in August instead of June, due to the health crisis and the related lockdowns.

Thus, the opportunity to discover Paris has also been extended for three months from the summer through the start of the school year to the autumn. However, the offer this year is even more attractive, impossible for anyone to miss.

What is different in Pass Jeunes this year?

The Pass Jeunes consists of a chequebook with coupons giving access to reductions or free admission to cultural and leisure activities in Paris and in certain partner metropolitan municipalities.

With the pass, it is well worth flying with a balloon above Paris (only 7 euros instead of 15), playing golf (for 10, instead of 25 euros) or going climbing (for 12 instead of 24 euros). Young people also receive a number of tickets for cinema, theatre, museum, sports venues for free.

According to the website of the City of Paris, this year, the youth pass gives access to temporary exhibitions, too. Unlike in 2019, it is possible to attend Fresh Street Art Tour Paris at a reduced prise, to get 2 free tickets to the exhibition "Christo et Jeanne-Claude. Paris!” at Centre Pompidou, 2 tickets for National Monuments Centre - Château de Rambouillet and 2 tickets for the exhibition "The Parisians in the 1940 exodus" at the Museum of the liberation of Paris.

How to claim your Pass Jeunes 2020?

The pass is free for everyone between 15 and 25 who already has a card Citoyenne-Citoyen de Paris (who lives, works, studies in Paris or has a civic commitment to the city). A number of partner cities can also benefit from the offer.

All the benefits can be claimed from 15 august to 15 November. More information and detailed instructions on how to get your pass can be found on the Youth Pass website.
