The best male and female alpine skiers will compete for the Audi “Snow Queen Trophy” 2020
The Croatian capital Zagreb will once again play host to the FIS Ski World Cup event in the beginning of next year. The best male and female skiers in the world will gather for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup “Snow Queen Trophy” 2020, which will take place on 4 and 5 January.
Every year, Sljeme in Zagreb welcomes 150 of the world’s top slalom skiers and more than 400 crew members from around 25 countries on 4 continents. The race is followed by a media caravan, including 500 Croatian and international reporters and photographers.
The 2020 sports event will be traditionally launched by the ladies’ slalom race on Saturday, 4th January with the first run scheduled for 1 pm, and the second for 4.15 pm. The men’s slalom will take place on Sunday, 5th January, with the first run taking place at 2.15 pm and the second at 5.40 pm.
Tickets for the ladies’ race cost 30 kuna for adults and 15 kuna for children between 7-15 years. Tickets for the men’s race cost 50 kuna for adults and 25 kuna for children. A ticket package for both races is priced at 60 kuna for adults and 30 kuna for children. Free entrance for both races is provided for children up to 7 years of age.
For all the visitors of the competition and ski lovers, HŽ Passenger Transport offers 40% discount on return journeys for 1st and 2nd class of regular inland trains. The discount can be used from 3rd to 6th January 2020 from all stations to the Zagreb Main Station, Stubičke Toplice, and back for distances greater than 25 kilometres.
