Mayors

Mayor of Horsens is Peter Sørensen. He was born in Egebjerg in the city’s outskirts in 1966. He first worked as a porter at Horsens Regional Hospital and was later promoted to service leader. Peter Sørensen is a lifelong Social Democrat and has served as Mayor of Horsens since 2012. Today he lives in his native town of Egebjerg with his wife and family.
